Summer Drink

Ingredients
  • Milk 2% – 4 cups
  • Saffron Threads- few
  • Cashew nuts – 1/4 cup
  • Almonds – 1/4 cup
  • Pistachios – 1/4 cup
  • Fennel seeds- 1/2 tsp
  • Pepper corns – 1/2 tsp
  • Poppy seeds- 1/4 tsp
  • Nutmeg powder- pinch
  • Rose water- 1tsp
  • Rose preservative- 1tsp
  • Powdered sugar- 3thsp
Directions
  • Step 1 First step take a wide bottomed pan add milk allow to boil meanwhile take a small bowl add 2thsp of warm milk along with saffron threads keep side
  • Step 2 For Thandai masala,take a small blender add cashew nuts, almonds, pistachios, peppercorns, poppy seeds,nutmeg, fennel seeds blend to dry powder add to the boiling milk keep stirring at regular intervals
  • Step 3 At this point add saffron milk mix well, Rose preservative, Rose water
  • Step 4 Finally add powdered sugar remove from the flame allow the mixture to cool completely
  • Step 5 Strain the mixture then refrigerate the Thandai for 2 hrs then serv
