This is very famous dessert delight in Indian Cuisine blended with dry evaporated milk solids, Indian cottage cheese, all purpose flour and semolina along with few ingredients to form Jamuns and dipped in sugar syrup.

Ingredients
  • Khoa( dry evaporated milk solids)- 250 gms
  • Paneer grated ( cottage cheese) – 1 cup
  • Semolina – 2thsp
  • Maida (all purpose flour) – 3thsp
  • Milk – 2thsp
  • Cardamom powder – pinch
  • Baking powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Powdered sugar – pinch
  • Sugar syrup:
  • Sugar – 4 cups
  • Water – 2cups
  • Cardamom powder – pinch
Directions
  • Step 1 Take a wide bottomed pan add sugar and water in medium to form one thread consistency sugar syrup till it becomes sticky
  • Step 2 Remove from flame add Cardamom powder mix well keep aside
  • Step 3 Next step take a wide plate add khoya, Paneer mash till no lump are formed until 5 minutes
  • Step 4 This process is very important to get smooth and soft texture for gulab Jamuns
  • Step 5 Next add semolina, Maida, baking powder, milk, powdered sugar gently mix well cover the dough allow to rest for 20 minutes
  • Step 6 Next step after resting time is done
  • Step 7 Take a wide pan add generous amount of oil allow it to become hot in medium flame
  • Step 8 Meanwhile make small tiny balls  uniformly without cracks if not add little milk to form smooth Jamun fry in oil in low flame until light brown in color
  • Step 9 Repeat the process by frying all the Jamuns in same manner
  • Step 10 Transfer in paper towel then drop in sugar syrup
  • Step 11 Serve gulab Jamuns after 15 Minutes
  • Step 12 GulabJamuns can be served with edible rose petals and dry fruits. Gulabjamuns can also be served with Butter Pecan Ice-cream with cherry.
