This sweet delight is famous in South Indian Cuisine blended with Black gram Lentils dough deep fried in oil and coated with sugar syrup.

A sweet Delight!
Ingredients
- Whole Urad dal -2 cups
- Sugar -2 cups
- Water -1 cup
- Cardamom powder-1tsp
- Rose water -1tsp
- Orange color - pinch
- Saffron threads optional
- Sugar - 3tsp
Directions
- Step 1 Soak the whole Black gram Dhal for 4 hours then in a grinder grind to smooth batter by adding little water at regular intervals
- Step 2 Add the orange color mixed with little water while grinding
- Step 3 Remove the batter add sugar mix well
- Step 4 Meanwhile make the sugar syrup by taking a pan add sugar and water mentioned above to one thread consistency finally rose water and cardamom powder to the syrup keep aside
- Step 5 Take a wide pan add oil allow it to be in medium heat then by using zip lock bag making a small hole at the one of the corner check the thickness of the hole preferred pour the batter start making jangiri in low heat
- Step 6 Takes 5 minutes to cook to nice soft Jhangiri then add in sugar syrup for 2 minutes then transfer to serving plate
- Step 7 Garnish with Pistachios.
