This recipe is from south Indian style blended with semolina along with additional ingredients quick and easy breakfast Delight. A South Indian Breakfast Delight.

Ingredients
- Semolina ( Rava)- 1/2 CUP
- Water - 1.5 Cup
- Mustard seeds- 1tsp
- Cumin seeds- 1tsp
- Peppercorns- 1 tsp
- Onions chopped - 1
- Green chilies chopped- 3
- Ginger minced - 1/2 tsp
- Cashew nuts - 1 tsp
- Shredded coconut little.
- Curry leaves few
- Turmeric powder- pinch
- Astafoetida- pinch
- Salt
Directions
- Step 1 Take a pan add oil few tsp then add mustard seeds allow to splatter then add cumin seeds,
- Step 2 Peppercorns, onions,green chilies,curry leaves
- Step 3 Astafoetida fry for few minutes.
- Step 4 Then add cashews together along with salt and turmeric powder.
- Step 5 For 1/2 cup of semolina add 1 and 1/2 cup water.
- Step 6 Now to the fried items add water as mentioned above allow to boil..After it boils add semolina slowly start stirring when it starts becoming thick add 1 tsp ghee and little coconut.
- Step 7 Easy upma recipe ready for serve.
- Step 8 Note: For Upma recipe, the measurement of water should be accurate to get perfect texture to enjoy.
- Step 9 Serve with Coconut Chutney .
