This recipe is very famous appetizer delight blended with boiled potatoes coated in batter deep fried then tempering is added to enhance the texture and flavor to the recipe.

Ingredients
  • Parboiled Potatoes 3
  • Garlic pods chopped 3
  • Green chilies sliced 3
  • Curry leaves few
  • Cumin seeds 2tsp
  • Chaat masala powder 1tsp
  • Lime juice 1tsp
  • For batter:
  • All purpose flour 3thsp
  • Corn flour 2thsp
  • Yogurt 2thsp
  • Cumin powder 1tsp
  • Coriander powder 2tsp
  • Red chili powder 2tsp
  • Red color optional
  • Ginger and garlic paste 2tsp
  • Salt.
Directions
  • Step 1 First step peel the potatoes and chop them to cubes.
  • Step 2 Take a bowl add all purpose flour, corn flour, ginger garlic paste and dry masalas, yogurt add the potatoes along with salt mix well add little water to form medium batter.
  • Step 3 Allow the batter to rest for 10 minutes.
  • Step 4 Next take a pan add generous amount of oil allow it to become hot then with the spoon drop the potato coated batter in the oil fry until the potatoes turn to crispy golden color takes roughly about 5 Minutes
  • Step 5 Transfer in a paper towel keep aside.
  • Step 6 Next step take a pan add 2tsp allow to become hot then add cumin seeds allow to splatter then add garlic, green chilies, curry leaves fry for 2 minutes then add the fired potatoes mix well slowly cook for 3 to 4 minutes in medium flame.
  • Step 7 Finally add lime juice mix well remove from flame sprinkle chaat masala powder.
  • Step 8 Aloo 65 is ready for serve.
  • Step 9 Note : Make sure the oil should be in medium flame to fry the potatoes to crispy.
