This recipe is crispy and crunchy appetizer blended with boiled potatoes along with bread slices deep fried to golden brown color.

Ingredients
  • Boiled Potatoes - 3
  • Green chilies sliced - 2
  • Ginger chopped - 1tsp
  • Asafoetida - pinch
  • Mustard seeds -1tsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1tsp
  • Turmeric powder - pinch
  • Red chilli powder - 1tsp
  • Coriander powder -1tsp
  • Dr mango powder - 1tsp
  • Coriander leaves chopped - little
  • Curry leaves few (optional )
  • Salt.
  • Canola/ Vegetable oil - 2tsp
  • White Bread slices - 6
  • Or
  • Brown Bread slices
Directions
  • Step 1 First step take a pan add oil 2tsp then add mustard seeds allow to splatter then add Asafoetida along with cumin seeds fry in medium flame for 2 seconds then add green chilies, ginger along with curry leaves Fry for 2 seconds then add mashed potatoes along with all dry masalas turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder,Dry mango powder along with salt fry for 2 minutes.
  • Step 2 Finally add coriander leaves mix well allow to cool keep aside.
  • Step 3 Then after a while take the fillings give a lemon sized shape or oval shape as shown in the picture below place on a plate.
  • Step 4 Next step take the bread slice trim the sides with knife as shown in the picture.
  • Step 5 Take a wide bowl of water then take a slice of bread slightly dip only bottom layer of bread in water for second remove squeeze the water with your palms then place the fillings mixture in the middle rap with the bread keep aside on a plate.Repeat the process with all other potato fillings .
  • Step 6 Keep aside for 20 minutes.
  • Step 7 Take a wide pan add generous amount of oil allow it to become hot in medium flame then drop the bread rolls fry in oil uniformly to crispy golden color as shown in the picture.
  • Step 8 Transfer on to paper towel then serve with ketchup ,mint chutney or sweet chutney.
  • Step 9 Note: while frying the bread rolls in oil make sure uniformly bread rolls fried to golden brown color.
