This recipe is appetizer delight made in south Indian style blended with Beets and Lentil along with additional ingredients then deep fried to crispy texture.

Ingredients
  • Thuvar dhal - 3/4 cup
  • Dry red chilies - 5
  • Rice flour - 2thsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1tsp
  • Fennel seeds- 1tsp
  • Asafoetida- pinch
  • Beetroot chopped- 1
  • Onions chopped- 2
  • Green chilies chopped-2
  • Mint leaves chopped- little
  • Coriander Leaves chopped little
  • Curry leaves few
  • Salt.
Directions
  • Step 1 First step soak thor dhal and dry red chilies in water for 30 minutes then drain the water transfer in a blender add cumin seeds, fennel seeds, Asafoetida grind to a coarse batter .
  • Step 2 Then transfer 3/4 batter in a bowl to the remaining coarse batter add chopped beets grind it.
  • Step 3 Finally transfer in a bowl mix well add onions, green chilies, mint leaves, coriander leaves, curry leaves mix well finally add rice flour and salt mix well keep aside.
  • Step 4 Next step take a wide pan add generous amount of oil
