Rose Gulkand Nutty Rolls

This recipe is very authentic unique famous in North Indian Cuisine blended with Rose Preservatives, Dates along with additional ingredients to enhance the flavor and texture.

Ingredients
- Gulkand 1 cup (sweet preserve of rose petals )
- Dates chopped 1 cup
- Pistachios chopped 1/2 cup
- Cashews nuts 1/2 cup
- Almonds chopped 1/2 cup
- Walnuts chopped 1/2 cup
- Poppy seeds 3tsp
- Ghee 2tsp.
- Edible dry rose petals - 1/2 cup
Directions
- Step 1 First step take a pan then dry roast poppy seeds for 1 minute keep aside.
- Step 2 Next step dry roast each nuts separately preferred to keep aside.
- Step 3 At this point add the chopped dates in a blender grind for 2 minutes.
- Step 4 Take a wok add 2tsp Ghee in, medium flame add the dates, mixture along with gulkand by using spatula keep stirring for 3 minutes gets to sticky mixture add the nuts along mix slowly forms a thick mixture finally add rose petals 2thsp mix well. At this point allow to cool in a greased plate preferred leave it for 10 minutes.
- Step 5 Grease the palms with ghee roll the nutty mixture to make small cylindrical shapes.
- Step 6 Then rolls them on rose petals and edges with toasted poppy seeds.
- Step 7 Place the Rose Gulkand Rolls on the plate then keep refrigerated for 2 hours .
- Step 8 After 2 hours remove the Rose Gulkand Rolls
- Step 9 Take a sharp knife slice the Rose Gulkand Rolls.
- Step 10 Note : Don't add too much of dry fruits only add required amount as mentioned in the recipe.
