This recipe is made in Dabha style famous in North Indian cuisine blends as side dish with Rotis ,Naans and Rice dishes.

Ingredients
  • Boneless Chicken - 2LB
  • Onions Chopped - 1
  • Tomatoes chopped - 5
  • Ginger Chopped - 1 thsp
  • Garlic cloves - 2
  • Green Chilli- 2
  • Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 2thsp
  • Kashmiri Red Chilli powder - 3thsp
  • Honey - 1tsp
  • Dry Kasturi Methi - 1tsp
  • Garam Masala powder- 1tsp
  • Cashew nuts - few
  • Cardamom-2
  • Clove -2
  • Cinnamon-1
  • Salt
  • Butter - 1/4 cup
  • Lime juice - 2tsp
  • Coriander leaves
  • Fresh Cream - 2thsp
Directions
  • Step 1 First step take a bowl add chicken chop as desired pieces add Kashmir red Chilli powder 2thsp, Lime juice 1tsp and salt mix well for marination keep refrigerated for 30 minutes
  • Step 2 Take a pan add oil 2thsp allow to become hot then add cardamom,cinnamom,cloves fry in medium flow then add onions,ginger,garlic ,green chili and tomatoes, cashews nut along with salt, coriander powder fry for few minutes then add 1/4 cup water close the lid cook for 7 to 8 minutes in medium flames until the mixture is cooked well
  • Step 3 Remove from the flame allow the mixture to cool completely then blend to smooth texture strain the mixture keep aside
  • Step 4 Meanwhile remove the marinate chicken from refrigerator take a pan add oil 3thsp drop few chicken pieces shallow fry for 10 minutes by help of spatula flipping the chicken pieces to golden brown color transfer on a plate
  • Step 5 Final step take a wide pan add butter 2thsp then add Kashmir red Chilli powder mix well of 2 seconds then add tomato mixture along with turmeric powder,dry kasturi methi and salt little mix well cook for 5 minutes
  • Step 6 Add chicken pieces mix well add little cream , honey close the lid cook for 5 minutes until oil oozes out finally add Garam masala powder and coriander leaves .
  • Step 7 Butter Chicken is ready for serve
  • Step 8 Note :Magrinate Chicken for 30 minutes or more for best results
