Soya Chunks has high protein content also known as meal maker rich and nutritious. Soya Biryani is blended with few ingredients taste delicious cooked in White Baby Basmati Rice taste unique served with Onion Raitha.

Ingredients
  • White Baby Basmati Rice - 1.5 cup
  • ( soaked in water for 30 minutes)
  • Soya Chunks - 1 cup
  • ( soaked in warm water with little salt for 10 minutes then drain the water )
  • Bay leaf -3
  • Marathi moggu- 2
  • Star Anise- 2
  • Cinnamon-3
  • Cloves -2
  • Cardamom- 3
  • Onions sliced-2
  • Tomatoes sliced-2
  • Ginger Garlic Paste- 2 Thsp
  • Mint Leaves- few
  • Cashewnuts- 1 tsp
  • Green chilies slit- 3
  • Coriander Powder- 2 Thsp
  • Red Chilli powder- 1 thsp
  • Biryani Powder - 2 Thsp
  • Coriander leaves- 1/4 cup
  • Yogurt / Curd - 3 Thsp
  • Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - 1.5 tsp
  • Water - 2.5 cups
  • Oil- 3 thsp
Directions
  • Step 1 Take a wide pan add generous amount of oil 3 thsp allow to become hot in medium flame add whole spices bay leaf, cardamom, cinnamon, marati moggu, star aniseed fry for few minutes.
  • Step 2 Next step add sliced onions fry for 2 minutes in medium flame until onions turn translucent.
  • Step 3 Then add Mint leaves, Cashew-nuts and green chilies fry for few minutes.
  • Step 4 At this point add ginger garlic paste 2 thsp fry for 5 minutes until raw smell leaves.
  • Step 5 Step 3: Add Tomatoes sliced fry for 2 minutes at this point add dry masalas
  • Step 6 Coriander powder, Red Chilli powder and Biryani masala powder mix well along with coriander leaves then add yogurt 3 Thsp mix well fry for 3 minutes.
  • Step 7 Add turmeric powder and salt 1 thsp kook for 2 minutes close the lid cook until the oil oozes out from the masala.
  • Step 8 Step: Remove the lid add soya cook with masala mixture for few minutes then close the lid cook for 2 to 3 minutes remove the lid.
  • Step 9 Step :4 Soya is cooked now add Baby Basmati Rice mix well fry for 2 minutes then add water 2.5 cups along with salt 1/2 tsp allow the mixture to boil then close the lid keep the flame in low cook for 15 minutes.
  • Step 10 After 15 minutes remove the lid Soya Biryani is ready .
  • Step 11 Allow the Biryani to rest for 15 minutes then serve with Onion Raitha.
  • Step 12 Soya Chunk Biryani taste delicious.
