Mango Pista Burfi

This recipe is blended with fresh mango purée along with additional ingredients taste yum . To give a crunchy texture added additional ingredients to enhance the taste and texture to the sweet delight.
Ingredients
- Cashew-nut Powder - 2 cup
- Fresh Mango Purée- 1/4 cup
- Cashew-nuts Pistachio Chunks - 1/4 cup
- Milk powder- 1/2 cup
- Kesar color - pinch
- Cardamom powder- 1/2 tsp
- Rose water - 1/2 tsp. (optional)
- Ghee - 2 tsp
- Granulated Sugar - 2 cup
- Water - 1/2 cup
- Garnish:
- Roasted Coconut Chips - few
- Pistachios chopped- 2 thsp
- Edible Rose Petals- few (optional)
Directions
- Step 1 First step take a wide nonstick pan add granulated sugar 2 cups then add water 1/2 cup allow to boil in medium flame keep stirring at regular intervals for approximately 10 minutes to get one string consistency.
- Step 2 Next step add Cashew-nut powder, Mango purée, Milk-Powder keep the flame low keep stirring vigorously as lumps don’t get formed until the mixture thickens starts to leave the sides add cashew pistachios chunks, kesar a pinch for color if needed cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Step 3 Meanwhile grease a tray with ghee 1 tsp keep aside.
- Step 4 Finally, while mixture starts to form thick texture add ghee and cardamom powder mix well transfer on greased plate or pan.
- Step 5 At this point with the spatula flatten the mixture to spread uniformly,
- Step 6 Finally add garnish ingredients roasted coconut chips, pistachios and edible rose petals allow the mixture to cool completely.
- Step 7 Then with sharp knife slice the mango pistachio Burfi to desired shapes.
- Step 8 Keep Refrigerated.
- Step 9 Note: Cook the sweet in medium low flame only.
