Rose Flavored Double ka Meeta

This dessert is very famous in Hyderabadi Cuisine made during festive seasons. An attempt to make a fusion style by adding Rose flavors to the recipe taste unique and delicious.

Ingredients
- Wheat Rusks - 10
- ( substitute with Bread )
- Evaporated Milk - 2 cups
- Pink color - 1 tsp
- Saffron strands - few
- Cardamom powder- 1/4 tsp
- Sweet Condensed Milk - 1/4 cup
- Khoya - 1/2 cup
- Almonds sliced - 3tsp
- Pistachio Sliced- 3 tsp
- Edible Rose Petals- few
- Ghee - 3 tsp
Directions
- Step 1 Take a wide bottom pan add evaporated milk 2 cups along with saffron strands cook in medium flame for few minutes then add pink color ( optional) 1 tsp mix with the spatula.
- Step 2 Next add sweet condensed milk 1/4 cup mix with the milk mixture, add almond sliced few, pistachios sliced few then add cardamom powder, 1/2 tsp cook, the mixture for 3 minutes.
- Step 3 Next add khoya 1/2 cup mix well without lumps keep stirring with spatula at regular intervals.
- Step 4 After 5 minutes the Rose Milk mixture is cooked in semi-thick consistency.
- Step 5 Remove from flame allow to cool.
- Step 6 Take a pan add ghee 3tsp allow to melt then add Rusk or white Bread toast to light brown in color on both sides transfer in a glass container.
- Step 7 Then add the Rose Milk mixture on the Rusk slices slowly finally garnish with almonds, pistachios, and edible rose petals.
- Step 8 Allow to refrigerate for 3 hours then serve this delicious dessert Delight.
