This recipe is popular in South Indian cuisine blended with few ingredients taste delicious as sides with Pulao or Biryani Varieties.

Ingredients
  • Red Onion Sliced- 1
  • Cucumber chopped-1
  • Tomatoes diced - 1
  • Carrot scrapped- 1
  • Green Chili sliced- 2
  • Cilantro chopped- 1
  • Fresh Lime - 1/2
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Yogurt- 1 cup
  • Tempering:
  • Oil -2 tsp
  • Mustard seeds- 1 tsp
Directions
  • Step 1 Take a wide clean add chopped onions, tomatoes, green Chili, cucumber, cilantro and salt combine all the ingredients with the spoon, then squeeze the lime combine all the ingredients with by using hands next add the yogurt to the bowl.
  • Step 2 If required add little water combine all ingredients together.
  • Step 3 For tempering take a pan add oil 2 tsp allow it to become hot then add mustard seeds allow to splutter for 2 seconds then transfer the tempering to the mixture.
  • Step 4 Finally combine all the ingredients together with the spoon garnish with cilantro.
  • Step 5 Raitha is ready for serving with Pulao and Biryani Varieties.
