Coconut Burfi

This sweet recipe is popular in Indian Cuisine made during Festive Seasons blended with freshly grated Coconut along with few ingredients to enhance the taste and texture to the recipe.
Ingredients
- Grated Coconut- 2 Cups
- Granulated Sugar - 1 cup
- Cardamom pods - 3
- Pink color - few drops ( optional)
- Pistachios chopped- few
- Edible Rose Petals- few
- Ghee - 2 Tablespoons.
Directions
- Step 1 First step take a wide nonstick pan add ghee 2 tablespoons allow it to melt in medium flame next add grated coconut fry with spatula mixing at regular intervals for 3 minutes.
- Step 2 Note don’t brown the coconut it’s important.
- Step 3 Next step add sugar 1 cup ( accordingly) along with few drops of pink color cook the mixture stirring at regular intervals until the sugar and color get incorporated well approximately for 5 minutes.
- Step 4 Then add cardamom powder and pistachios to the coconut mixture cook for few minutes.
- Step 5 Then transfer the coconut mixture on a greased pan.
- Step 6 Meanwhile grease a desired pan or plate with ghee.
- Step 7 Press the Coconut Mixture by using flat spatula then garnish with pistachios and edible rose petals.
- Step 8 Allow the mixture to cool completely then refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours.
- Step 9 After 3 hours remove from refrigerator slice the coconut Burfi in the desired shape and serve.
- Step 10 Keep the Coconut Burfi Refrigerated.
